WSI Announces Relocation of Metro Detroit Office

[Ferndale, MI]: WSI (Workforce Strategies, Inc.), an award-winning recruitment and staffing agency, announces its plan to move into a new office space in Ferndale, Michigan. The WSI Metro Detroit team will begin operating out of the new space beginning May 17th, 2021. 

WSI planted their roots in Metro Detroit in February 2021 by setting up shop in a shared space with their first Detroit client. The relocation was fueled by the rapid market expansion, requiring a larger office space for their growing team and prospective job seekers. “We’re thrilled to have a space all our own to continue growing as a team,” says Kristi Rankin, WSI Metro Detroit Branch Manager. “Our first few months as a branch have been great and we’re just getting started!”

The new Metro Detroit office is located at 22637 Woodward Avenue, Ferndale, MI 48220. All interested applicants are encouraged to stop by the office Monday through Friday, 8 am – 5 pm. The team is now hiring for full time Quality Inspectors, Maintenance Technicians, Production Operators, and more. Jobs are available for people with all types of experience, education, and skill levels. These roles offer the ability to be hired-in after a trial work period, where employees will enjoy a range of incentives, dependent on the job, such as competitive benefits, vacation time, and more. Pay rates for these positions range from $14-$36/hour.

Onsite Hiring Event at Garden Fresh Gourmet

[Grand Rapids, MI:] WSI (Workforce Strategies, Inc.), an award-winning recruitment and staffing agency, will be hosting an onsite hiring event at Garden Fresh Gourmet on Wednesday, May 19th from 10 am – 2 pm. 

WSI is teaming up with Garden Fresh to fill Machine Operator positions on all shifts. Garden Fresh Gourmet is a large-scale food manufacturing company known for its premium deli products such as tortilla chips, salsa, and hummus. Associates of Garden Fresh enjoy a bright, clean, and team-oriented environment, the opportunity to be hired in with good attendance and productivity, and a pay rate of $12 – $15/hour. Plus, all attendees of the hiring event will receive a large bag of fresh tortilla chips to sample the products they’d be making every day!

“Associates note that they love the positive and collaborative work environment they experience everyday working at Garden Fresh,” says Michelle Ignasiak, WSI Account Manager. “This is nacho average factory job!”

Due to COVID-19, all applicants will have their temperature taken with a temporal scanner prior to entering the building. Face masks are required inside – if you don’t have one, WSI will provide one for you. Interior areas will be marked with 6-foot distances and there are hand sanitizer stations throughout the building.
