Paw Paw Job Fair
October 15 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
[PAW PAW, MI] WSI Workforce Strategies, Inc. had such a great turnout for their last job fair, they’re hosting another one at its Paw Paw location on October 15th, 2020 from 10 am to 2 pm.
Having just opened the Paw Paw location in late August, WSI Branch Manager Chelsea Hunter says, “We’re excited to be hosting a second job fair in our new location! We still have hundreds of openings for qualified workers throughout Van Buren County and are ready to get people back to work.”
Applicants will be able to choose from hundreds of openings in industrial manufacturing, welding, facility services, and more. There are jobs for people with all types of experience, education, and skill levels. These roles offer a range of incentives, dependent on the job, such as competitive benefits, vacation time, and the ability to be hired-in with good attendance and productivity. Pay rates for these positions range from $12 – $15.50/hour.
Additionally, WSI is currently conducting a lucrative referral program where job seekers can earn money referring others to work for WSI. Referees have the chance to win $200 per referral.
Due to COVID-19, all applicants will have their temperature taken with a temporal scanner before entering the building. Face masks are required inside – if you don’t have one, WSI will provide one for you. Interior areas will be marked with 6-foot distances and there are hand sanitizer stations throughout the building.
