As a Stud Press Operator, you’ll have the opportunity to operate various stud press machines and work alongside CNC Cell Operators to help shape our high-quality products.  Our commitment to quality has made us leaders in the industry. We specialize in crafting axle and suspension components, ensuring the safety and reliability of trailers, RVs, and other mobile equipment. Â

As a Stud Press Operator, you’ll find your workplace primarily indoors, where temperatures can fluctuate seasonally, transitioning between warm and cool environments. Your trusted allies will be your PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), safeguarding your eyes, ears, hands, and feet against potential hazards. While dedication is crucial to our mission, the need for overtime and weekend work will arise, but infrequently. In terms of physical demands, you may occasionally lift up to 75 pounds.

We offer this position:
- Shifts available are 6:00 am-2:00 pm and 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm
- A pay-rate starting at $20.45/hour
- $100 bonus when you refer a friend to work for WSI

Â
As a Stud Press Operator, your key responsibilities include:
- Assembling hubs and races/bolts.
- Operating stud press machines efficiently.
- Safely moving hubs to and from conveyors.

Qualifications:
- Education Level: High school diploma or equivalency preferred, but not required.
- Knowledge & Experience: Prior manufacturing experience is preferred, though not mandatory.
- Ability to read and comprehend work instructions and simple documents.
- Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness while promoting quality.
- Observes safety procedures and maintains good attendance.
- Hand tool experience is a plus, as is familiarity with hubs, races, bolts, stud press machines, pallets, and conveyor belts.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English.
