Clients all over the world depend on this Battle Creek marketing fulfillment company to produce and ship a variety of printed commercial and game products (puzzles, games, flashcards, etc.) As a Digital Prepress Specialist, you’ll be responsible for preparing layouts and images to be printed on laser and inkjet printers. Attention to detail, willingness to learn, and the ability to work at a steady pace are keys to success in this entry-level role.
A typical day in this role includes:
- Producing output for personalized print jobs
- Manipulating data and variable images to create proofs for production runs
- Maintaining communication with team members regarding job requirements and status updates
- Processing files and data for immediate orders and company archives
Let’s chat about the Digital Prepress Specialist position if you:
- Have 1 – 5 years of experience in a prepress position (not required, but preferred!)
- Are proficient with Mac/PC computers and graphics programs including Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat
- Have a strong understanding of Microsoft Access/Excel with the ability to create formulas to parse data according to client specifications
- Can juggle multiple projects at a time
- Can effectively prioritize tasks according to importance and deadlines
- Are able to work with little or no supervision
- Have knowledge of Pageflex, PrintShop Mail, DirectSmile, and direct mail USPS requirements (not required, but a plus!)
We offer Digital Prepress Specialists:
- A pay rate of $15 – $18/hour
- Full time, direct hire work on 1st shift (Monday through Friday, 8 am-5pm)
