Put your foot pedal to the metal and operate an industrial hemming machine for a local manufacturer of corporate, career, and casual apparel. From embroidery and emblem decoration to custom garment designs, this apparel supplier offers pant hemming at no cost to their clients, and you’ll be the machine operator that makes perfect hem dreams come true. No sewing experience? Sew what. We’ll train you! Attention to detail, willingness to learn, dexterity, and a positive attitude are keys to success in this role.
Let’s chat about the Hemming Machine Operator role if you:
- Are open to working 2nd shift (12:30p – 9p)
- Can (or are willing to learn how to) operate and maintain sewing machines
- Can lift up to 35 lbs
- Work well with others as well as independently
- Possess an excellent eye for detail
- Have good verbal and written communication skills
- Are described by others as sincere, positive, and helpful
- Can lift, climb ladders, bend, reach, kneel, squat, push, and pull
- Would rather be moving and on your feet rather than chained to a desk all day
- Have dependable transportation that gets you to work on time every day
- Have a HS diploma/GED
- Can pass a drug screen
- Are felony and conviction-free
