JOB SUMMARY: Detail oriented, friendly and capable of working directly with our
employees, manager, supervisors and executive team. The Human Resources team is
committed to providing the best possible experience for all of our employees, and this position
is pivotal to that commitment. The Human Resource Specialist is frequently the first line of
interaction for all basic employee relations matters, from onboarding new employees to
general questions regarding details and other employment related information. The Human
Resource Generalist with assist with implementing internal programs that will improve the
hiring process, assist with employee training and help develop ways for our employees to
contribute their skills and talents to both their professional and personal development.
Responsibilities:
Track PTO and Personal Time
Coordinate staffing requests with the outside staffing agencies
Conduct tours for potential employees and new employees
Assist HR Manager/Executive team with tracking anniversaries and wages
Ensure office and management communications are properly shared throughout the
departments, ensuring awareness and consistency
Be able to answer basic questions from the employees and act as a conduit to the
management team for more complicated questions or requests
Proficiently using MS products to create presentations, documents, reports, etc.
Proficiently and effectively work with isolved, the HR/payroll software utilized by MS
Metal Solutions
Miscellaneous Duties:
Ability to work early shift on occasion (5 am – 1 pm) to accommodate 3 rd shift inquiries
Housekeeping of personal workspace
Work as assigned by HR Manager or CHRO
Any other responsibilities
Qualifications:
1 year of experience in Human Resources
College degree preferred
High degree of proficiency with MS Office
Previous Manufacturing experience required
Ability to lift over 25lbs (only during Inventory)
