Well-established, forward-thinking rubber products and fittings manufacturer in Wixom and we’re looking for a Press Operator. From O-Rings to specialized fittings, our products are used worldwide in a variety of important products. This is a great entry-level role with pay starting at $16 per hour. If you’ve got a keen eye for detail and are a quick learner, read on and see if this role is right for you.
You’ll be pushing and pulling molds in excess of a hundred pounds, so you’re going to get your workout in. Other daily duties will include operating machinery, using specialized tools (we’ll train you), spotting defects in products, keeping a safe workplace, and more.
Requirements of our Press Operators are:
- Wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (Steel toe / safety shoes required for this position)
- Can operate a transfer press without supervision (we will train)
- Organized, and a keen attention to detail
- Value a safe and clean workspace
- Communicate with group leader for assignments
- Keep accurate paperwork and process sheets
We offer Press Operators:
- Starting pay at $16.00/hr (we’ll add $1.00 an hour after hire-in)
- 40 hours a week
- 2nd shift work
- $100 referral bonus if you refer a friend who gets hired at WSI
