As a Manual Welder, you are not pushing buttons and walking away. You are reading blueprints, lining up parts by eye and by tape, and laying beads that have to hold under pressure. This shop runs early, 5am to 3:30pm Monday through Thursday, so your Fridays belong to you. The work is steady, the expectations are clear, and the results are visible at the end of every shift. If you like honest heat, straight lines, and work that cannot be faked, you will feel at home here.
This manufacturing facility in Grand Haven produces fabricated metal components for industrial customers across the region. The operation focuses on meeting strict quality, cost, and delivery targets while maintaining a structured team environment on the production floor.
Each shift you will review work orders, read blueprints, set up your welding station, align and secure parts using fixtures, run and inspect first pieces, perform hourly quality checks, complete production paperwork or MES entries, and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
