Every pint poured in Kalamazoo this weekend spent a weeknight on a pallet first. Somebody read the label, counted the cases, wrapped the stack, and shoved it onto a truck before the sun came up. The title for that somebody is Warehouse Associate, which undersells it a little. You are the reason the bar stays stocked. The work is physical and the clock is real, but there is a satisfying kind of tired that comes from watching a full truck pull out with your name on the load sheet.
This is a beverage distributor in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Product comes in, gets sorted and stored, and goes back out to bars, restaurants, and stores across the region. The night crew gets a quiet building, a clear job, and the pleasure of finishing before the day shift shows up.
You walk the racks with a cart, pallet jack, or forklift, pulling cases and kegs, checking name, date, and vintage against the order, and staging by route. On the loading side you build pallets to the delivery schedule, wrap and label them, and load them so nothing shifts before the first stop. Expect to lift about 30 pounds on repeat, move up to 165 with equipment, and work in a warehouse with a cold end and a warm one. There is a daily case rate, and hitting it feels like winning something.
What We Offer
- First shift: $18.25 per hour, Monday through Friday, 7am to 3:30pm
- Second shift: $18.50 per hour, Monday through Thursday, 3pm start with a soft end time, usually a 10 hour shift
- Third shift: $18.50 per hour, Monday through Thursday, 6:30pm start with a soft end time, usually a 10 hour shift
- Four day work week on second and third shift
- Weekly pay
- Structured work with a set loading schedule and clear daily targets

Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- Able to lift about 30 pounds repeatedly and move up to 165 pounds with equipment
- Able to stand, walk, bend, twist, and squat for a full 10 hour shift
- Comfortable working in hot and cold areas of the warehouse and on trucks
- Basic math without a calculator
- Basic computer skills for email, time clock, and data entry
- Flexible with varying shift end times and scheduled break times
- Must be able to speak, read, and write basic English
- 3 months of warehouse or material handling experience preferred
- Forklift certification preferred, not required
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Chauffeur’s license preferred, only required if making deliveries
