What You’ll Be Doing

Perform MIG welding on axle components and other production materials.

Set up, operate, and adjust welding equipment to meet production specifications.

Load, position, and handle spindles and other axle components.

Perform equipment changeovers and adjustments as needed.

Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and accuracy.

Follow safety procedures while maintaining production goals.

Work alongside a team to keep manufacturing operations running efficiently.

What We’re Looking For
-
Previous MIG welding experience in a manufacturing or production environment is required.

Welding certification is a plus but not required.
-
Ability to operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.
-
Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Ability to lift heavy materials with assistance when required.
-
Strong attention to detail, quality, and workplace safety.

Reliable attendance and ability to work overnight shifts.
-
Ability to complete required pre-employment screenings.
Hiring Process
-
Complete an interview with WSI Staffing Solutions.
-
Qualified candidates will be submitted to Dexter Axle for review.
-
Selected candidates will attend an onsite facility tour and complete a brief welding test.
-
Once approved, candidates will be scheduled for orientation.
-
Training will take place on 1st shift for approximately two weeks before transitioning to 3rd shift.
