Position Summary:
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Clerk to support our
Finance and HR Director in cleaning up and organizing our financial requirements and
processes. The ideal candidate will help reconcile accounts, input invoices and
purchase orders manually into QuickBooks Online, and contribute to both month-end
and year-end closing processes. If you're the kind of person who finds joy in balancing

Key Responsibilities:
ï‚· Assist the Finance Director in reconciling general ledger accounts, bank
statements, and credit card transactions.
ï‚· Enter vendor invoices and purchase orders manually into QuickBooks Online
with accuracy and timeliness.
ï‚· Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries,
accruals, and financial statement preparation.
ï‚· Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and supporting
documentation.
ï‚· Help with general accounting tasks such as account coding, tracking
expenditures, and reporting.
ï‚· Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve discrepancies or
obtain missing documentation.
ï‚· Contribute to the development and improvement of internal financial processes.
Qualifications:
ï‚· Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
ï‚· 2+ years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
ï‚· Strong knowledge of QuickBooks Online (QBO) is required.
ï‚· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups are a plus).
ï‚· Excellent attention to detail and a knack for spotting inconsistencies.
ï‚· Strong organizational and time management skills.
ï‚· Ability to work independently while also being a team player.
 Sense of humor and flexibility appreciated—because catching up on reconciling
requires both.
Work Environment:
This position will be on-site. The role involves regular communication with the Finance
and HR Director and other departments. You’ll be diving into financial data, but don’t
worry—we’re not afraid of spreadsheets around here.
