If you like working with technology and making things that matter, this job is for you. As an SMT Operator in Grand Haven, you’ll be setting up and running surface mount machines to create circuit boards used in cars and high-end appliances. This isn’t mindless work—you’ll need focus, attention to detail, and the ability to keep up with a fast-moving production line.

We build the electronic guts of products people use every day. Our facility is clean, climate-controlled, and built for precision work. We believe in teamwork, learning by doing, and always improving.

Your daily work will include:

Running and monitoring SMT machines to assemble circuit boards.
Following step-by-step instructions to ensure quality.
Watching for issues and making minor machine adjustments as needed.
Working with your team to meet production goals.
Standing for your shift and handling parts up to 35 pounds.

What we offer SMT Operators:

Pay: $17.99/hour (+$0.50/hour for 2nd and 3rd shifts).
Shift Options:
- 1st: 6:50 AM – 2:50 PM
- 2nd: 2:50 PM – 10:50 PM
- 3rd: 10:50 PM – 6:50 AM
Weekly pay and potential for permanent hire with good performance.
A $100 bonus for every friend you refer to us, plus an additional $25 bonus for your referral to WSI.

You’ll be a good fit if you:

Have worked in manufacturing before (preferred, but not required).
Can stay focused in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to speak, write, and read basic English.
Can follow detailed instructions and meet production standards.
Are willing to complete IPC certification training (we’ll provide it).
