When a machine stops cold at 9:17 a.m., the whole building feels it, and you are the one expected to bring the noise back to life. This Maintenance Technician Level 2 role is for someone who trusts their hands, their eyes, and their judgment more than guesswork. Your days move between urgent fixes and quiet preventive work, keeping production and facility equipment running safely and steadily. You read manuals, listen to machines, and know when a problem is about to turn expensive. The work matters because downtime costs real people real hours. You will be busy, a little dirty, and rarely bored. There is pride here, plus the quiet satisfaction of solving problems before lunch and still making it home for dinner.
This is a long standing manufacturer operating out of a single facility in Holland, MI. Our operation supports high volume production with in-house equipment and maintenance teams. The culture values safety, steady output, and technicians who take ownership of the floor.
You will troubleshoot and repair production and facility equipment, respond to emergency breakdowns, complete scheduled preventive maintenance, read manuals and work orders, replace parts, test adjustments, and keep work areas safe, clean, and organized while reporting issues to supervision.
