The shop floor doesn’t pause while someone figures out whether the problem is the part, the process, or the measurement. In automotive and appliance manufacturing, that answer needs to come fast and come correct. The person who provides it is a Quality Facilitator, and we currently have openings on second and third shift in Grand Haven.
This manufacturing plant produces mechanical and electromechanical systems for the automotive, transportation, and appliance industries. It runs with the process discipline that global supply demands, and quality is embedded directly in production. The environment is clean, climate-controlled, and built around structured team operations.
A Quality Facilitator here owns the communication between what the floor is doing and what the standards require. You’ll conduct shop floor audits, maintain quality metrics, train Team Leaders on inspection requirements, and demonstrate proper metrology equipment usage. When measurement issues surface during production, you’ll help diagnose the root cause and develop an action plan. You’ll also maintain work instructions, manage inspection documentation, and handle supplier defect investigations when they arise.
