The Best and Brightest competition identifies and honors organizations that are committed to excellence in human resource practices and employee enrichment.
July 31, 2020 – Kalamazoo, Mich. — The Best and Brightest Program provides the business community with the opportunity to gain recognition, showcase their best practices, and demonstrate why each of them would be an ideal place for employees to work. It is WSI’s honor to be recognized as a 2020 winner, making it our fifth consecutive year in the winner’s circle.
To be considered for the award, an independent research firm evaluates each company’s entry based on key measures such as Employee Education, Communication, Diversity and Inclusion, Work-Life Balance, and more. The Best and Brightest Assessment Reports are designed to aid employers in evaluating the strengths and weaknesses of their company function, employee engagement levels, and assist in identifying and eliminating potential areas of concern.
“My favorite part about participating in the Best and Brightest survey is the ability to gauge improvements year over year. It’s not about winning the award as much as it’s about seeing all of our employee’s hard work paying off,” says Lauren Rogalski, WSI Manager of Corporate Culture. “This year, we received the highest scores we’ve ever seen! It’s not to say there isn’t still work to be done, however, it shows that consistency and commitment to continuous improvement will truly create and foster an incredible workplace!”
Winners are pooled by the size of their company, with WSI being classified as a Small Business with under 100 internal employees. All companies, no matter their size, can be a Best and Brightest Company to Work For® resulting in an opportunity to gain recognition and showcase the high standards they have for employee satisfaction.
“Through the first half of 2020, the Best and Brightest Companies To Work For have demonstrated leadership and forward-thinking as they pivoted their business and workforce through Covid-19. As the conversation and focus has shifted, our Best and Brightest winning companies have also been a voice for important actions regarding Race. It is in these unique times, the Best and Brightest Companies To Work For excel and share their knowledge with others” said Jennifer Kluge, President and CEO, Best and Brightest Programs.
The Best and Brightest Companies to Work For in the Nation Winners will be honored during dual virtual Illuminate Business Summit weeks in October 2020 and February 2021.
